Blackhawk was missing lot of outside shots and Knoch wasn’t playing well either. The second quarter they hung in still not playing their best but they got the lead down to 19-17 with Kassie Potts getting her 7th point of the game and Aubree Hupp leading the scoring with 8 for the Blackhawk girls and still no points from their leading scorer Alena Fusetti. And then Kassie Potts hit her second 3 point shot of the game, things were starting to look a little bit better for the lady Cougars and they weren’t done yet Aubree Hupp posted up and and made it 28-24 and the cougars keeping it close Allena Fusetti made a nice pass underneath to Aubree Hupp who was fouled and made both. Blackhawk was moving the ball a lot better and then Alena Fusetti hit a 3 pointer to put Blackhawk in the lead the cougars got the ball back and Aubree Hupp fought for a rebound put them up by 4 37-33, with a minute left Shaw for Knoch scored and cut the lead to 2, after a couple of time outs back to live action one of the Romighs made a big steal and passed the ball to Andrea Kinger who was fouled and made 1 and put the cougars up by 3, with 29.9 seconds left. Knoch missed a basket got the ball back with 7.3 seconds on the clock and called another time out then the Knights put up a 3 point shot that was no good the ball went out of bounds off Knoch, and all Blackhawk had to do was get the ball back in with .9 seconds on the clock and that they did Blackhawk gets the win they move on 38-35.
