It was a great night for high school basketball at Hempfield. The Beaver girls came out strong and played very hard throughout the night. After the first quarter they were losing 17-10. Central Cambria began to get on track and Beaver couldn’t find the nylon and found themselves down 39-22 at the half. Central Cambria ran away in the third quarter and the final score was Central Cambria-69 Beaver-35.
