Toni Sue (DiRuscia) Peabody, 71, of Brighton Township, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, following a brief, courageous battle with lung cancer, on August 31st, 2026.

She was born in Rochester on June 20th, 1955, a daughter of the late Guy and Ramona DiRuscia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rich DiRuscia.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Peabody of Brighton Township, her sons, Patrick (Kristen) Peabody of Brighton Township and Jeffery (Sara) Peabody of Sewickley, her daughter, Heather (Justin) Schmeider of Butler, her brother, Keith (Marla) DiRuscia of Patterson, her grandchildren, Justice and Liberty Schmeider of Butler, Sadie Rushman of Sewickley, Emmie Peabody of Sewickley, and Olivia and Mason Peabody, both of Brighton Township and her faithful dog companion, Fleury.

Toni was a resident of Brighton Township all of her life. She worked in retail and enjoyed being a homemaker. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother.
