Ruth Eva Lipscomb (1941-2026)

Ruth Eva Lipscomb, 85, of Fallston, passed away at home on October 17th, 2026.

She was born in Rochester on February 20th, 1941, the daughter of the late Milo and Margaret R. (Mortimer) Johnston.

Ruth was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and faithful woman of God whose life was filled with love, kindness, and a caring spirit. She was Pentecostal by faith, she held her beliefs close to her heart and carried her faith with her throughout her life. She loved her family dearly and played an important role in helping raise and guide her children and grandchildren. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer support, and share the wisdom she had gained through life. Her love and dedication helped shape the lives of those she cherished, and the memories she created with her family will forever remain in their hearts. One of her special gifts was her cooking. Her meals were prepared with love, and the warmth she brought to her kitchen made it a place of comfort, happiness, and togetherness. When she had time to relax, one of her favorite things to do was watch Little House on the Prairie. She will be remembered for her loving heart, her generous nature, her faith in God, and the many ways she showed up for her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her love will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by three children, Laurie Caler, Deeanna Ragula, and Tammy Burke, three grandchildren, Jordan Lipscomb, Christopher Ragula, and Tammy Caler, a great grandson, Daniel Ragula, a brother, James (JoAnn) Johnston and her two cats, Finny and Autumn.

No services will be held for Ruth.
