Ronald Ippolito Obituary

Ronald J. Ippolito, 86, of Conway, passed away on August 5, 2026. He was the son of the late Harrison and Jennie Ippolito. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, C.L. Sue Seamans.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Linda Ippolito; his children, Lisa Ippolito and Gary (Pam) Ippolito; his grandchildren, Cody, Noah, Luke, Jonathan, Tonya (Andy), and Brian; and his great-grandchildren, Karma, Jessica, Lucas, Haven, Kenley, and Asher. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A graduate of Shenango High School in New Castle, Ron proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Following his military service, he worked in various steel mills and later managed Pappan’s Restaurant. He then dedicated more than 30 years to serving as a security officer at Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital before retiring.

Ron remained actively involved in his community throughout his life. He served as a board member of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 862, the Beaver Car Cruise, and the Beaver Falls Car Cruise Committee. He was also a member of American Legion Post 641 in Baden.

Ron enjoyed attending car cruises, spending time at the beach, hunting, camping, and anything related to the military. He had a special love for animals, enjoyed singing Elvis songs, and was known for calling square dances. Above all else, Ron cherished the time he spent with his family.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 4:00 p.m. at Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge. Military honors conducted by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 862 will take place at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Burial will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
