Julian “Jay” Rusenko (1963-2026)

Julian “Jay” Rusenko, 63, of Harmony Township, passed away at home on September 30, 2026. He was born on March 27th, 1963, a son of the late Julian and Delores Rusenko.

Julian was a graduate of Ambridge High School and continued his education at Robert Morris University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. He worked in various positions throughout the Maryland area and most recently was involved with a video podcast dedicated to helping underprivileged children in the Baltimore area. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and especially enjoyed fantasy football and baseball. He was also a member of Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ambridge.

He is survived by his sister, Ann Rusenko, as well as his many college friends and all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd, from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 12:30 p.m. at Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge, who was in charge of his arrangements. Burial will follow at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Economy.
