Harold M. Bingle, a son of the late Franklin and Elizabeth Ifft Bingle, passed away peacefully in his home, September 13th, 2026, after a six year battle with cancer. He was born on July 14th, 1942. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Wilbur and Margaret Bingle and William D. Bingle, two sisters, Betty Ann and Lois JoAnn Bingle and a son-in-law, Russ Simmons. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judith M. (Headland) Bingle, three children, Patrick and his wife, Kathy Bingle, Jeffrey “Jake” J. Bingle and Wendy Simmons, four grandchildren: Lana, Tarra, Tyler, and Mason; as well six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, one brother, Donald Bingle, and a sister-in-law, Joanne Bingle.

Harold was a graduate of Rochester High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Geneva College. He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, having served four years in the security agency of the United States Army. He spent eighteen months in Bangkok, Thailand during the war. He was a retired self-employed Accountant and was previously employed as a Beaver County Deputy Controller for many years. He was a lifelong member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rochester, where he served in various capacities.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, September 16th, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the William Murphy Funeral Home Inc., 349 Adams Street, Rochester, who was in charge of his arrangements. A service will be held on Thursday, September 17th at 11 a.m., in the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 392 Adams Street, Rochester, where everyone is requested to meet. Officiating will be Pastor Gregory S. Clagg. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Irvin Cemetery, 9 Kay Street, Rochester.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Rd, Aliquippa, PA 15001. The family of Harold wishes to thank Dr. Tarabay and her staff, for the excellent caring and compassionate treatment shown to Harold over the last six years, as well as Concordia and Pinnacle Hospice.
