Donna Jean (Neal) Greene, 79, of New Brighton, passed away peacefully on June 1st, 2026.

She was born on May 24th, 1947, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Edna Louise (Curry) Neal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Ronald Leroy and Robert Lee Neal. She is survived by her son, Nyasanu “Nya” (Sharyce) Greene, her grandchildren: Brittany LaVette, Kaitlyn, and Alexa Hopkins, and Nyasanu “Tongee” Greene II; as well as a host of great-grandchildren and her devoted family and lifetime friends: Leroy Goosby, Byron Allen, William (Bobbi) Valentine, Barb (Ted) Michalik, Bobby Cook, her devoted goddaughter, Shelnita Carter and Lisa Bloom, of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Donna was educated in the Beaver Falls Area School System, where she received her High School Diploma in the class of 1965. She also attended 2 years of Community College, taking business classes before she started working at Westinghouse in Beaver. She later worked at Bell Telephone in Rochester until 1974, when she started working at Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania. She worked at Columbia Gas until she retired in 2000. At that time, she relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she worked part-time as a collection’s representative for Credit One Bank while traveling.

Friends will be received on Friday, June 5th, from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 12 noon at Second Baptist Church, 2322 10th Avenue, Beaver Falls, with Pastor Bernard E. Tench, Jr. officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, Inc., 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton.
