Deborah Allison, 70, of Ambridge, passed away peacefully with a smile on her face on June 28, 2024, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Deborah was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Her loving parents Eliza and Matthew Williams, Sr., brother, Matthew Jr., sisters Annie and Frankie preceded her in death.
Deborah professed a hope in Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She moved to Ambridge in her early 20s. She worked in the customer service field and transitioned to home healthcare until she retired. Her vibrant personality and loving heart touched many lives in her community. Deborah loved her church family and was affectionately called, “Mother Deborah.” She was an avid supporter of her grandchildren in their various activities. She adored her great-grandchildren and was excited for the opportunity to participate in their upbringing.
Deborah was the proud mother to Felicia Allison; grandmother to James Pride (Jackie) and Artez Pride; great-grandmother to Xzavier, Isaiah, Giovanni, Kenzie, Kenna, Aniyah and Kiyah, her loving sisters, Katie, Patricia, Sheoashie (William), a loving brother, Joseph, extended family, Amy, Destiny, Brit, Mya, Taya, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and family will be received from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 8, 2024, at Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge, 724-266-2549.
Funeral service, celebrating her life, will be held at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church (Chicago, IL).
