Carol Lynn Morrell, 68, of Pulaski Township, passed away unexpectedly on August 16th, 2026, at AHN Beaver.
She was born in Pittsburgh on July 3rd, 1958, a daughter of the late James Stepp and Ann (DiCecco) Annechini.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patti Stonehouse and a stepson, Anthony Morrell.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 39 years, Richard Morrell, her daughter, Suzie Morrell, a daughter-in-law, Debbie Morrell, her grandchildren: Mackenzie Morrell, Richard Morrell, Trinity Goughnour, Anthony Morrell and Cruz Morrell; as well as her niece and goddaughter, Robin Felder, her best friend, Stacey Atkinson, along with nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Carol dedicated the last 30 years of her career to serving others as an insurance agent with Yorke Insurance. She was a life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and was also a member of the New Brighton United Croatian Club, the Rochester Owls Ladies Auxiliary and the New Brighton American Legion. Above all, she loved her family immensely and took great pride in supporting and cheering them on in all that they did. In her free time, she enjoyed rooting for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers, taking trips to the casino and playing video poker. She also shared a special bond with her beloved cat, Millie, who brought her much companionship and joy.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 19th from 1-3 P.M. and 5-7 P.M. in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Avenue, New Brighton, who was in charge of her arrangements, and where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 20th at 11 A.M. with Pastor Dan Muir officiating.
Interment will be private at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s name to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
