Carol Ann Colella, 64, of Harmony Township, passed away in the early morning hours of September 25th, 2026, with her loving family at her side. She was born on October 11th, 1961, a daughter of the late Rudy and Mary Ann Colella. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Elena Zunic, and her brother, Rudy Colella, Jr.
She is survived by her sisters, Theresa, Rita, and Amy Colella, all of Harmony Township, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Colleen Colella of Chippewa Township and Joe and Nancy Colella of Harmony Township and her brother-in-law, Bob Zunic of Economy Borough.
Carol had a generous heart and would help wherever needed. She was active in her church, St. Luke the Evangelist Parish in Ambridge, and particularly enjoyed volunteering at the annual parish festival. She also volunteered at the church fish fries, preparing the baked fish, her specialty. She loved music and sang in the church choir for over 45 years. She was also a member of the Beaver Valley Choral Society for many years and enjoyed giving praise in song at their annual Lenten and Christmas concerts.
Her family extends sincere thanks to her care teams at Allegheny General Hospital, AHN Wexford Hospital, and AHN Healthcare@Home for their compassionate care of Carol during her struggle with cancer.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Luke the Evangelist Music Ministry, 725 Glenwood Avenue, Ambridge, PA 15003; Beaver Valley Choral Society, PO Box 750, Rochester, PA 15074; or a charity of your choice.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th, from 3 P.M.-7 P.M. at Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge, who was in charge of her arrangements. Departing prayers will take place at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, September 29th, at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at Saint Luke the Evangelist/Good Samaritan Church, 725 Glenwood Avenue, Ambridge. Burial will follow at Economy Cemetery, 1691 Ridge Road Ext #1601, Ambridge.
