Barbara Jeanette (Basey) Borriello, 87, of Baden, formerly of Daisytown (Clover Hill), passed away on September 18th, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford, surrounded by the love of her family in her final days.

She was born on August 19th, 1939, the daughter of the late Alexander and Edith Basey. She graduated from California Area High School in 1957 and later worked at UPMC Mercy Hospital performing cardiograms. Barbara shared 67 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Patsy Borriello. Her family was the center of her life, and she especially treasured time spent with her grandchildren, whom she helped raise. She loved bringing everyone together for large Italian dinners and enjoyed scrapbooking and preserving family memories.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Christina Austin of Hopewell, Patsy Borriello Jr. of Baden and Sherri Borriello of California, her grandchildren: Breean (Kyle) Beers, Dylan Austin, Alexa Austin, Dante Borriello, Luca Borriello, Olivia Borriello, Tyler Engel, Nicholas Farland, and Austin Farland; as well as her great-grandchildren: Bear Beers, Bryar Beers, Bobby Beers, and Bailey Austin; alog with her siblings, Mary Ann Rice (George), Thomas Basey Sr. (Veronica), Alexander “Al” Basey (Linda) and Laverne “Vernie” Jackson (Kenneth). In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Anna Marie Borriello and her brother, William Basey (Ruth).
Barbara will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by the family she cherished so much.

A visitation will be held at 2-4 P.M. and 5-7 P.M. on Thursday, September 24th at Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge, who was in charge of her arrangements, and where a Blessing Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, September 25th followed by burial at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 2186 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa.
