(Pittsburgh, PA) A woman was detained yesterday in connection with a reported robbery in the Crawford Roberts neighborhood of Pittsburgh. According to an Allegheny County 911 supervisor, police were called to the intersection of Reed and Vine streets at 3:43 p.m. yesterday. A spokesperson from Pittsburgh Public Safety confirms that officers received a report of a robbery of a house in progress and that a woman was discovered on the scene and was determined to be a potential suspect. After she did not leave the building when officers called to her, SWAT was requested at around 5 p.m., and then shortly afterward, the woman was taken into custody. The same Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesperson confirms that the woman was taken to police headquarters for questioning.
