(Pittsburgh, PA) According to Pittsburgh Police, two people are in custody, and a third suspect remains on the run after shots were fired, leading to a crash and chase in the Perry South neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday was when police were called to the 400 block of Chester Avenue in the North Side of Pittsburgh because of a fifteen-round ShotSpotter alert regarding this incident. Officers noticed a car speeding away, and the driver continued to escape when the officers attempted to stop the car. Police confirm the driver lost control of the car and crashed into a home on the 1900 block of North Charles Street and three people were in the car, and they all tried to run from the scene. Two people were taken into custody by officers while the third person is still at large. Investigators state that they recovered shell casings at the site of the first incident. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
