Two Men Charged and Face Hearing for 2020 Murder in Aliquippa, Currently Lodge in Beaver County Jail

(Beaver, Pa.) Two men have been charged and are currently waiting a hearing in Beaver County Court after they are accused of the 2020 slaying of 19- year-old Curtis Flowers II in Aliquippa.
Rico Ramone  Rodgers, 22 of Aliquippa, and Jeffrey Lamont Alford,27 , of  New Brighton face a hearing in Beaver County Central Court Monday, June 27 at 8:45 a.m. for the murder of  Flowers. It occurred Tuesday, November 24, 2020,  in the area of Davis and Wykes Street in the city’s Plan 11 neighborhood.   Aliquippa police were dispatched to the area at 4:35 PM  for a report of a male suffering from gunshot wounds.  When police arrived they found  Flowers, who was struck in the head  from gunfire and deceased.  Witnesses reported hearing gunshots in the area. Aliquippa Police requested that the PA State Police assume the primary investigation  into the  homicide  of Curtis flowers.

The two men were charged per the Beaver County District Attorney’s Office , and the PSP Troop D Criminal Investigation unit. The men are charged with criminal homicide  and possession of firearms-prohibited. They remain lodged in the Beaver County Jail without bond.
