(Cranberry Twp., Pa.) Pa State Police in Butler are reporting that they are charging two people in connection with a traffic stop on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Twp. on Tuesday march 23, 2021 A Trooper report via release that while conducting a traffic stop at 11:00 pm on a 2021 Chevrolet for several summary traffic violations he noticed that the driver of the vehicle, 24-year-old Kayla Thomas of Pittsburgh, showed signs of impairment. The Trooper conducted SFST’s on the driver and confirmed that the driver showed signs of impairment. She was transported to UPMC Cranberry for a blood test and was released. Troopers reported in the release that after a search was conducted on the vehicle they found a small amount of Marijuana and paraphernalia in the vehicle. Also being charged in the incident is the passenger in the vehicle 18-year-old Jamar Woodson of Pittstburgh.
