(Connoquenessing Twp., Butler County, Pa.) Pa State Police in Butler are reporting that they were called to the scene of a two vehicle accident on Pa. Route 68 in Connoquenessing Twp., Butler County, last Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 3:35 PM involving two Beaver County residents.
Upon arriving and investigating it was learned that 26-year-old Mackenzie Heranic of Aliquippa was stopped on Evans City Road south of Stevenson Road in her 2017 Nissan Rogue waiting for a vehicle to turn left in front of her when her vehicle was struck from behind by a 2007 Pontiac G5 Being driven by 31-year-old Denis Ward of Freedom. Ward suffered minor injuries in the accident and was not transported to the hospital. Heranic was not injured. Her vehicle suffered minor damage and Ward’s vehicle suffered significant damage.
Ward was cited by state police for following too closely to a vehicle in front of him.
