Two Aliquippa Men Indicted by a Federal Grand Jury on Drug Violations

(Pittsburgh, Pa.) United States Attorney Cindy K. Chung announced on Monday   that the federal grand jury in Pittsburgh indicted a former and current Aliquippa resident on charges of violating federal narcotic laws. The two-count indictment  was returned on March 8, 2022 and unsealed Monday named Kijana Stephaun Lowe, 24  a former resident, and current resident Tusweet Smith, Jr, 23, along with others from New York and Philadelphia.
According to the indictment around May 2021 until around November 2021  the defendants conspired to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 5 kilos or more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine, and 400 grams or more  of a mixture containing a detectable amount of  fentanyl.
The men could face imprisonment of a maximum of  not less than 10 years to life and a  fine of $10,000 or both  The  investigation was conducted by the PA Attorney General’s office and the DEA leading to the indictment.
