Trump Whistleblower Wants to Meet With Lawmakers

The whistleblower behind the Ukraine complaint wants to meet with lawmakers, according to their counsel. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., tweeted Tuesday that his committee was in touch with the whistleblower’s counsel and looking forward to “testimony as soon as this week.” The whistleblower filed a complaint about his phone call with Ukraine’s leader, but Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire refused to comply with a deadline to hand over the complaint to Congress even though it had been deemed “credible and urgent” by the intelligence community inspector general.
