The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency Encourages Students and Families to Save for College During National College Savings Month

(Harrisburg, PA) The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) is hosting the webinar, “Financial Aid 101,” on Monday, September 22nd at 1 P.M.-2 P.M., and the Pennsylvania Treasury Department (Treasury) is hosting the webinar, “Overview of the PA 529 College & Career Savings Program,” on Tuesday, September 23rd at 11 A.M.-12 noon. Both of these webinars are free. According to an advisory on Wednesday from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, September is National College Savings Month, and both the PHEAA and the Treasury is encouraging families to take advantage of these free webinars to educate themselves on the financial aid process and how to start saving early with the PA 529 College and Career Savings Program and Keystone Scholars.
