Syracuse men’s basketball coach Jim Boeheim says he is “heartbroken” after striking and killing a man standing along an interstate late Wednesday night. Syracuse police say Boeheim struck 51-year-old Jorge Jimenez as he stood on the side of the road after the car he was in hit a guardrail. Boeheim was trying to avoid hitting the disabled vehicle in the middle of I-690 in Syracuse.
