The state Senate is moving along legislation that would raise the minimum age in Pennsylvania to purchase tobacco and vaping products to 21. Approved by a 43-to-six margin, the bill is now on its way to the House for consideration. If signed into law as currently written, the legislation would also create new penalties for tobacco use in schools and allow schools to upgrade their on-grounds tobacco use policies.
