(South Beaver Township, PA) The South Beaver Township Volunteer Fire Department was recently a recipient of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Unconventional Gas Well Grant from the Pennsylvania Office of the State Fire Commissioner. The funds were used towards buying a DJI Matrice 4T thermal drone, which will be used for firefighting, search & rescue, scene size up, damage assessment and training.
