(Pittsburgh, PA) A sixteen-year-old girl was shot in the Knoxville neighborhood of Pittsburgh on Sunday night and detectives from the Violent Crime Unit are investigating this incident. According to Pittsburgh Police, officers were dispatched to the area of E. Amanda Avenue around 10 p.m. on Sunday after receiving a 10-round ShotSpotter alert. The victim was shot in the left arm when officers found her at the scene. Police confirm she was listed last in stable condition after she got taken to the hospital.
