Shell Chemicals is holding a public meeting tonight in Beaver. The meeting comes on the same day on which published reports say that the new Shell warehouse will bring about 200 jobs to Beaver County early next year, when the warehouse becomes operational. The warehouse – which is located along Woodlawn Road near the Beaver county Jail – will store massive amounts of material that will be used to construct Shell’s 6-billion-dollar ethane cracker plant in Potter Township. Tonight’s meeting will be held from 6 to 7:30 p-m at College Square Elementary School in Beaver.
