(Tioga, PA) According to a release from PennDOT, PennDOT, along with the Northern Tioga School District and local officials recently announced a new PennDOT-led pilot project at Williamson High School in Tioga that allows students to take their learner’s permit knowledge test at school instead of going to a driver’s license center. This initiative for pilots exemplifies the commitment that the Shapiro Administration has towards government services that are both accessible and people-focused. The program will be piloted, lasting for a period of two years, at Williamson High School and Cowanesque High School in Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
