(Washington, D.C.) According to a release from Senator John Fetterman’s office, Fetterman along with his colleagues Sens. John Kennedy [R-LA] and Cory Booker [D-NJ], introduced the Freedom in School Cafeterias and Lunches (FISCAL) Act. This bill gives more options for schools to serve drinks that have similarities to dairy milk and drinks that are nutritionally equal to it. This will assist students with disabilities or students that are lactose intolerant.
