(Harrisburg, PA) According to a release in Harrisburg yesterday from the Pennsylvania Department of State, Pennsylvania Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt recently launched the Department of State’s 2026 voter education efforts to ensure that Pennsylvanians are aware of key election dates, deadlines, and options for casting their ballot in preparation for Pennsylvania’s primary election on May 19th.
These dates are among the dates to keep in mind:
- May 4: Last day to register to vote in the primary
- May 12: Last day to apply for a mail ballot
- May 19: Primary Day. Polls are open 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
- 8 p.m. May 19: Deadline for all mail ballots to be received
