(Ambridge, PA) Beaver County Radio recently announced a partnership with R.J. Rhodes Transit Company to help provide needed school supplies for area children. From Now through July thirtieth, School supply donations will be accepted at Rhodes Transit terminal at 2990 Duss Avenue in Ambridge and at WBVP-WMBA, 1316 7th Avenue in Beaver Falls. Meal coupons to local restaurants will be given to everyone who drops off a donation.
The “Back to School on The Rhodes” will culminate with an open house and live broadcast on WBVP and WMBA at R.J. Rhodes Transit on July 30 from 1 until 3 pm.
Residents who drop off school supplies and or visit the open house and broadcast are also encouraged to explore the possibility of starting or adding a part time second career as a bus driver for R.J. Rhodes Transit. Immediate openings are available and representatives will be on hand to accept applications and answer any questions.
