(Hookstown, PA) Officials from Raccoon Creek State Park in Beaver County confirmed on Saturday that the lake there has been reopened. The park announced Thursday that the higher levels of E. coli bacteria in the water caused the lake and the beach area to be closed for swimming. Now that the levels of E. coli bacteria in the water there are back to acceptable levels, people can swim again there. As of today, food concessions will also continue at the park located in Hookstown.
