It was a close one tonight in Ambridge as the the Ambridge Bridgers defeated the Quaker Valley Quakers 50-47. What started as a runaway game for the Bridgers started to turn into a too close for comfort game. The Bridgers took a commanding 11 point lead into the half leading 20-9. At the start of the second things were still going the Bridgers way until the Quakers got hot and started cutting the lead. Heading into the 4th quarter the Bridgers still led by eight. Despite the valiant effort by the Quakers they could not complete the comeback.
