(Beaver County, Pa.) Hopewell Township Fire Department reported a short time ago there are widespread outages throughout the township. Neighboring Independence Township has 40 homes without power, and Ridge Road was blocked by 2 trees that fell ,a resident reported to Beaver County Radio. He used his own equipment to remove the trees from the road so access was available.
Center Township has 755 outages mostly in the area of Center Grange Road, including the municipal building.
Duquesne Light just reported that all power should be restored by 1 p.m. Saturday, crews are working around the clock .
