Police Search For Two Teens In Connection With Murder Of 16-year-old Boy In Aliquippa

Investigators are searching for two people in connection with the fatal shooting of a teenager in Aliquippa last week. The Beaver County Coroner’s Office says 16-year-old William Booher of Beaver died of a gunshot wound after the 8:30 p.m. Thursday gunfire. Police Chief Don Couch said a resident called 911 after a 13-year-old boy knocked on his front door and said his friend had been shot. Officers arrived to find a car parked in the middle of the street riddled with bullet holes and the youth’s body inside. Authorities identified 17-year-old Lawrence Reddick Jr. as the shooter. He is considered armed and dangerous. They are also trying to locate 18-year-old Dane Reed Mathesius, who police believe was in the car but has not been seen since the shooting. Investigators said today that they believe the shooting was the result of a botched drug deal, and they recovered a gun at the scene.
