(North Sewickley Township, PA) Twenty-one-year-old Khalil Mutadabur of Pittsburgh was killed in a crash that happened early this morning which caused the eastbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike between the New Castle interchange and the Cranberry interchange to be temporarily closed. According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash happened near milepost 14 not far from the Beaver Valley interchange in North Sewickley Township and it occurred in the 2 a.m. hour. Mutadabur was a pedestrian who was walking west in the eastbound lanes of travel on I-76 East and a vehicle hit him and kept going to escape the scene. The eastbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike are now open.
