(Pittsburgh, PA) Police apprehended a person yesterday afternoon after they tried to run from the scene after hitting a pedestrian with their vehicle in the North Side of Pittsburgh. Authorities went to East Ohio Street and East Street at 2:45 p.m. after reports of a hit-and-run that involved a pedestrian. According to medics, the victim, an unidentified man, was taken to the hospital from the scene. He was last said to be in stable condition. The driver of the vehicle tried to leave the scene on foot and was later taken into custody by police not too far away on Tripoli Street.
