PA One Step Closer To Cyber Snow Days For Students

Pennsylvania is one step closer to cyber snow days for students. Senate Bill 440 unanimously moved through the House Education Committee and is off to the full House for a potential vote. Approval there, along with Governor Tom Wolf’s signature, would allow teachers to assign work for students to do at home when school is closed unexpectedly, including for snow days. This proposal would allow for up to five cyber snow days per school year. A pilot program was run with cyber snow days in 12 school districts across P-A over the past three years.
