PA House Budget

The Pennsylvania Senate approved the House budget on Friday even though some of The Republican state senators representing southwest Pennsylvania were not exactly enthusiastic about the deal.

“This is the best product we can put together that fills the needs of Pennsylvanians,” said state Sen. Pat Stefano, of Fayette County. “Is it the best? No, by far. It is the best we can get with this administration.”
State Sen. Elder Vogel of New Sewickley Township, said in a statement that the budget is almost $650 million less than the one proposed by Gov. Tom Wolf and it controls state spending.
