(Pittsburgh, Pa.) Pittsburgh Police and Firefighters were called to the scene of a one vehicle accident early Monday morning in which a Mini Cooper crashed into a pole in Pittsburgh’s Strip District
One person was injured in the accident that occurred at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and 25th Street around 3 a.m.
When first responders arrived on scene, they found the driver, was conscious and alert, but trapped in the car. Crews had to remove both doors to rescue the man. He was taken to a hospital in serious but stable condition.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
