New Brighton Man Charged with Attempted Homicide in Beaver Falls Shooting

(Beaver Falls, Pa.) A new Brighton man has been is facing multiple charges including attempted homicide after an incident that took place in Beaver Falls just after midnight Sunday morning, November 7, 2021.

The City of Beaver Falls Police Chief, David Johnson, reported via release that at 12:06 this morning Officers from the Beaver Falls Police Department were approached by a male victim who had been shot. Chief Johnson reported that the victim was transported by medical helicopter to an area hospital for his injuries.

After investigating, Officers arrested 30-year-old Raheem Beal, who is known to be from Detroit, Michigan, but currently lists a New Brighton address. He is being charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, fire arms not to be carried without a license, persons not to possess fire arms and recklessly endangering another person.

There is no word on what led to the shooting or exactly where the shooting occurred. Chief Johnson reported in the release that no further information was available for release at this time.
