New Brighton man charged after causing a single-vehicle crash in Allegheny County

(Allegheny County, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Pittsburgh reported via release yesterday that twenty-five-year-old Jacob Pail of New Brighton was charged after causing a single-vehicle crash in Allegheny County on the morning of December 2nd, 2025. At 5:38 a.m., Pail was driving on I-79 South in Sewickley Hills Borough and lost control of his vehicle due to the icy and snow-covered road. The vehicle of Pail spun out and hit a guard rail. Even though Pail was not injured, he was cited because he committed a vehicle code violation in relation to this crash.
