New Brighton and Rochester school districts discuss sharing superintendent during first of two town hall meetings

(New Brighton, PA) According to a release, the Rochester Area School District and the New Brighton Area School District will hold two Town Hall meetings to discuss a proposed plan for both districts to share administrative services. The first one occurred on Monday in the New Brighton Area School District Auditorium with the discussion of the two districts sharing a superintendent. Dr. Jane Bovalino, the Superintendent of Rochester, will retire in 2026. $350,000 for each of the following five years for the two districts was presented in the Monday proposal to be invested again. The school boards are planning to take a vote in August or let Rochester search for a new superintendent.
