Muslim Leader From Ambridge Responds To Donald Trump’s Plan To Bar Muslims From Entering U.S.

A Muslim leader from Beaver County is responding to some controversial remarks regarding Muslims made by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Ali Altahawi is an Iman at the Islamic Center of Ambridge. He tells Beaver County Radio’s Pat Septak that Trump is a “dirty politician” and calls groups like ISIS and Al Qaida “dogs of hell fire” for their violent hijacking of the Islamic religion. He also blasted the news media for not allowing the voice of true Muslims to be heard. He says he was very surprised when Beaver County Radio News reached out to him for an interview for a news story, since in all his years of religious service, not one member of the news media ever asked for his reaction or opinion of anything in the news.
