Many residents throughout the Pgh. area saw multiple helicopters flying late Monday night.This was part of a Department of Defense training exercise that was announced earlier this month by the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety.

These training exercises were scheduled to run in and around the greater Pittsburgh area from July 23 through Aug. 4, in conjunction with local and federal law enforcement.
