Moon Township resident sworn in as newest member of the Allegheny County Council

(Allegheny County, PA) Beaver County native and Moon Township resident Kathleen Madonna-Emmerling was sworn in as the newest member of the Allegheny County Council on Friday in the Allegheny County Courthouse to be in that council’s District 1 seat, which includes 15 municipalities in western and northwestern Allegheny County. Newly sworn-in Common Pleas Judge Matthew V. Rudzki administered the oath to Madonna-Emmerling, a senior development association at the University of Pittsburgh’s Division of Philanthropic and Alumni Engagement. She grew up in South Heights and graduated from Ambridge Area High School.
