MAYOR RUDY GIULIANI WAS IN CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP LAST NIGHT. GIULIANI, WHO BECAME KNOWN AS “AMERICA’S MAYOR” FOR HIS LEADERSHIP AS THE MAYOR OF NEW YORK DURING 9-11, WAS THE FEATURED SPEAKER AND RECIPIENT OF THE HANCE AWARD, AS ST. BARNABAS HEALTH SYSTEM CELEBRATED ITS 117TH FOUNDER’S DAY. THE FOUNDER’S DAY CELEBRATION IS AN ANNUAL FUNDRAISING DINNER FOR ST. BARNABAS CHARITIES AND SUPPORTS THE FREE CARE FUND, WHICH PROVIDES MORE THAN 7-MILLION DOLLARS IN CARE ANNUALLY. BEAVER COUNTY RADIO NEWS WAS AT GIULIANI’S PRESS CONFERENCE LAST NIGHT…DURING WHICH GIULIANI SAID IT WAS AN HONOR TO RECEIVE THE AWARD AND HAD HIGH PRAISE FOR ST. BARNABAS FOR CREATING A FUND THAT HELPS PEOPLE WHO CAN’T PAY…AND FOR NOT TURNING ANYONE AWAY. GIULIANI ALSO HAD HIGH PRAISE FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP. WHEN ASKED TO GIVE THE PRESIDENT A LETTER GRADE AFTER HIS FIRST 100 DAYS IN OFFICE, GIULIANI SAID HE’D GIVE HIM AN A-PLUS, BECAUSE HE DELIVERED OR AT LEAST ATTEMPTED TO DELIVER ON ALL OF HIS CAMPAIGN PROMISES.
