A more energy-efficient heating system is coming to Aliquippa’s historic B.F. Jones Memorial Library…. thanks to a $40-thousand-dollar Keystone grant from the state Department of Education. State Rep. Rob Matzie made the announcement yesterday.
Matzie said the funding will enable the library, built in 1928 and added to the National Register of Historic Places 50 years later, to replace its aging boiler….
Matzie added that the new system will save taxpayers money by cutting operational costs.
