(Pittsburgh, PA) According to Allegheny County Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus, a Pittsburgh man who was wanted on multiple warrants was arrested on Friday morning after detectives found him hiding in an attic on the city’s North Side. Kraus confirmed that thirty-two-year-old Davon James had been a fugitive for about a month after probation-violation warrants were issued in two separate cases involving guilty pleas to firearms violations. James also is wanted by the city of Pittsburgh on charges including robbery, simple assault and strangulation. Detectives developed information last week that James was inside a residence on Hubbard Street. James was not found after an initial search of the home, but he was then found in an attic access opening in the second-floor ceiling after authorities state that he was completely covered by insulation and detectives saw what appeared to be hair braids sticking out from the insulation. James is now in the Allegheny County Jail.
