(Lawrence County, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in New Castle reported via release on Saturday that seventy-seven-year-old Edward Pesci of Greensburg, Pennsylvania was charged for not yielding when he caused a two-vehicle crash in North Beaver Township of Lawrence County on Thursday evening. Pesci was driving on Galilee Road at its intersection with the I-376 East on-ramp at 6:44 p.m. and when he tried to make a left turn onto the on-ramp, he did not yield to the vehicle driven by Tabatha Patterson II of New Galilee. Medevac Ambulance transported Pesci to Allegheny Health Network Pittsburgh for further evaluation because of a suspected serious injury and Patterson refused both transportation by Medevac Ambulance and treatment even though she had a suspected minor injury. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of this crash.
