Man from Braddock, Pennsylvania gets prison sentence after pleading guilty, but mentally ill, for killing a man from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania in 2023 in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh

(Pittsburgh, PA) Thirty-six-year-old Lukas Kislak of Braddock, Pennsylvania got a prison sentence of fifteen to forty years yesterday after pleading guilty, but mentally ill, for killing twenty-six-year-old Alex Yerkey of Bethel Park in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh on March 26th, 2023. Yerkey was riding his bicycle on Pearl Street to play baseball that day and Kislak got accused of shooting Yerkey in the head while Yerkey was riding that bicycle. Yerkey died on March 26th, 2023 after he was taken to the hospital in critical condition. According to court records, Kislak will face between 15 and 40 years in prison for a third-degree murder charge and he will also spend between one and two years in prison for carrying a firearm without a license.
