(Homestead, PA) A man that has charges that are connected with a shooting that occurred on Wednesday in Homestead that hurt a man has turned himself in to the Allegheny County Jail. Thirty-seven-year-old Joseph Poole reportedly went to the West Homestead police station and told officers, “I just shot somebody on 13th,” before being arrested. Poole is in the Allegheny County Jail, being held there leading up to his preliminary arraignment. According to police, a call came in on Wednesday night for a man who’d been shot in the 300 block of East 13th Avenue. The male victim was wounded by a gunshot in his leg and he was found in a house by emergency crews. The victim is in stable condition after he was taken to the hospital and he did not talk about the information about the shotting in court records. According to Allegheny County police, the charges for Poole include aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
